Big room with a great view. Rooms were all recently refurbished. I also got an early check in if I joined the hotel program. This meant I could have a nap when I arrived at 10am.

The waterfront location was great. The room was too warm for my liking and the bed was harder than I anticipated.

I liked how fresh and clean it was. And the furniture and fittings are really good quality. The location was in the city centre.
Set among beautiful gum trees, on the banks of the Barwon River, Tasman Holiday Parks - Geelong features 2 swimming pools and a large colorful jumping pillow.

The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.
We(5 older women) visited Geelong for 2 days. We took Vline to reach the accommodation. Visited Botanical gardens & water front.
Botanical gardens need some work as some areas were neglected but worth the visit.
Waterfront was excellent & loved the view, semicircle walk way in the water, seating area etc
We went to Westfield shopping centre to cafe & Coles. This shopping centre has variety of shops.
I will visit Geelong again for couple of days when I get a chance

Geelong has plenty to see and do in the city itself but is also a good spot to base yourself with easy drives to places like Queenscliff, Port Arlington, the You Yangs national park etc.
Eastern beach is a great place to either take a swim or just to stroll along the beach to Cunnington Pier etc.

Last time we were in town we went to the Old Goal, the mini golf course, Port Arlington Golf Club (bistro), Colac Golf Club (played 18 holes), the waterfront and the Fairy Park. We enjoyed all of the above, with the Fairy Park on the big rock being a wow factor (and this was for 2 middle aged adults travelling without kids). This time we were in town only overnight for a funeral however can recommend those things based on our previous visit. A heads up the ice cream was delicious at the mini golf Centre and the meal was lovely at the golf course.

The water front is picturesque and there are plenty of things to see and do in Geelong. Food at the local hotels was excellent, as was the friendly service. We had a car, so it was easy to drive around.

We visited Geelong for the purpose of attending the Geelong Beer Festival. Our accommodation at Rydges was excellent and very convenient to the Festival (which was in Johnstone Park). Geelong turned on an absolute cracker of a day for us: a beautiful sunny summer's day in a great venue for a great festival!

Geelong Waterfront with good beaches and eating places make for a good stay. Geelong has many old buildings of interest and provide an interesting place for walking. Central shopping area needs a clean up.

Staying at the Vue Apartments meant that we were close to the waterfront (we had a great breakfast at The Wharf Shed which was only a few minutes walk away), as well as doing some retail therapy at Westfield and dining at a beautiful restaurant (The Arborist) in Little Malop Street.
The room was spacious and clean and the bed was super comfortable!
Staff were very welcoming and helpful!
We were travelling to Tasmania on the Spirit of Tasmania the following day. We found the Shannon motor inn was extremely convenient for this. We had a great meal at the hotel next door, and fuel was cheap at the corner of the street.
We were happy with the location and the facilities, and the service at the Shannon Motor inn.
The room was bright modern very roomy. Huge bathroom dining kitchenette lounge. Clean and quiet. Just position in Geelong walk to waterfront, shops restaurants and bars.
Very happy with the room only downfall was having to pay extra for parking.
